Bridging Nations is an initiative founded by Madeleine ImKey. Our mission is to empower young talents with special needs, foster global understanding, and raise awareness about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through vibrant artistry.
Bridging Nations emerged from a deeply personal place—its inspiration rooted in Madeleine ImKey’s bond with her sister, Andrea. Growing up alongside Andrea, who faced the daily challenges of living with a disability, Madeleine witnessed both the beauty and struggles that shaped their lives. Andrea’s courage became the driving force behind this initiative, highlighting the importance of inclusion, respect, and empowerment for every individual, especially those who are often marginalized.
Bridging Nations is a testament to Madeleine’s desire to create a platform where diverse talents are celebrated, where art serves as a voice for the underrepresented, and where every contribution matters. Through the initiative, she merges her passion for art, diplomacy, and sustainability, connecting people across cultures and abilities. Partnering with the French Academic Society Arts-Sciences-Lettres, Bridging Nations reflects a vision of a unified world that thrives on shared creativity and understanding.
This initiative is not just about promoting art—it is about acknowledging the intrinsic value of every human experience, as exemplified by Andrea’s life, and championing the belief that every talent, no matter how unconventional, deserves to be nurtured and appreciated.
Our Commitment
Bridging Nations aims to extend its impact globally, with plans to replicate its initiative in other GCC countries. Our vision includes a cultural exchange program, with artworks being showcased in airports within the GCC and Europe, and eventually finding a prestigious display at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
